Breathe: Into The Shadows new season in progress!
The streaming site Amazon Prime has announced a second season for their hit crime thriller drama “Breathe: Into the Shadows” on this Wednesday. The series debuted on July of 2020 and it is a sequel of Amit Sadh’ crime thriller “Breath”.
Storyline
The first season of the series follows Dr. Avinash Sabharwal, a successful psychiatrist whose daughter Siya got kidnapped on her birthday by a masked man. The kidnapper demands Dr. Sabharwal to kill someone if he wants to get his daughter back. The series shows how Avinash and his wife push themselves to the limit in order to get 6 years old Siya safely back.
The series stars Abhishek Bachchan as Dr. Avinash Sabharwal, Amit Sadh plays Inspector Kabir Sawant , Nithya Menen is seen as Abha Sabharwal and Saiyami Kher as Shirley. Breathe: Into the Shadows is created and produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Mayank Sharma is the director.
Aparna Purohit, head of Originals, Prime Video India said in a statement that the popularity and love the show has gained from the audience, a second season was really expected. The plot is so intense as well as the characters who infuses raw energy into the narrative, the thrill goes higher this season.
Vikram Malhotra, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of the production house stated that they always try to create gripping content across all genres and try to deliver impact and entertainment to the audience. And this time they are doing the same by bringing season 2 of Breath: Into the Shadows. He also said that the new season will introduce a host new characters brace the series anchored in a strong emotional core.
Breathe: Into the Shadows season 2 is under production in Mumbai and New Delhi. It is expecting a release in 2022.
