From the Trailer of Bombshell, it looks like we are watching a mystery unfold and the movie hadn’t announced the name until at the end of this teaser. On IMDB, the movie was going by “Untitled Charles Randolph Project.”
So, when the trailer starts, you might not be sure where these three women are heading in the elevator. Although this trailer could be set to the offices of Fox News with Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron, and Nicole Kidman all gathered onscreen, there’s only one place.
The background music makes the trailer suspicious and interesting at the same time, however noting is revealed in it.
While we did not get to see John Lithgow’s Roger Ailes in the current trailer, we did saw Margot Robbie’s Kayla Pospisil (a fictitious news producer) getting on the elevator with Charlize Theron’s Megyn Kelly and Nicole Kidman’s Gretchen Carlson as they head to the second floor — Fox News Channel’s 1211 Ave executive suite. Everyone is just calm. Movie release date is not specified, however, expected to release in December.
Roger Ailes was sued by Carlson for sexual harassment in 2016, which forced him to resign(soon after he died), after which many women stepped forward and claimed they were also harassed by Ailes. Carlson settled for $20M with 21st Century Fox. Kelly also admitted that Ailes sexually harassed her. She wrote in her 2016 book Settle for More about those advances.
surprised so many people are astonished by Charlize Theron’s ability to perfectly mimic Megyn Kelly’s tense-pursed facial expression in that #Bombshell clip when she already proved to you in 2003 that she is skilled in masking her face to bring serial killers to life in movies pic.twitter.com/rXIe41PlTo

Reviews were uninterested, with the Hollywood Reporter said that“detailed without being truly insightful” and Vulture inferring that it “never connects the dots more fully or provides the kind of insight that might offer a new perspective on one of the most legendary, polarizing figures in the history of news media.”
