BMF: STARZ released Official Date & Trailer for Season 2

BMF is coming back for 2023 Operations

On Friday, January 6 at 8 pm, the Starz drama that is based on the true story of the Flenory brothers, Meech and Terry, who were instrumental in creating one of the nation’s most prominent crime families, will return for Season 2. The premiere will be accessible on the Starz app and on-demand, so eager viewers can watch even sooner.

Based on a true story, BMF follows the Flenory brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” (Demetrius Flenory Jr.) and Terry “Southwest Tee” (Da’Vinchi), as they navigate the city of Detroit’s drug war and rise from abject poverty to become game-changers in hip-hop and culture.

According to Starz’s official logline, “Rooted in authenticity and told with grit, heart, and humor, we parachute into the season with Meech and Terry at odds.” Meech wants to take the company outside of Detroit, but Terry is no longer involved and is concentrating on starting a legitimate car-ride business with his father. As they each attempt to tactically carry out a fresh vision while aiming to grow stronger than ever.

The Flenory brothers are supported by the public throughout the dramatic second season as they work to improve their lives in the face of a system that was biased against them. Both at home and on the streets, the enduring themes of family, faith, and loyalty are examined. The brothers try to manipulate the authorities in order to turn BMF into a multi-state empire.
