Build-A-Bear promises a plush release of the beloved character from ‘The Mandalorian’

Yes, you heard it right. The beloved character from the Disney Plus’ Star Wars series The Mandalorian will soon be available as a plush toy. The American retailer toy company, Build-A-Bear announced the release of adorable Baby Yoda plush toys in its stores at the 2020 ICR Conference in Orlando, Florida.
The CEO of the company, Sharon Price John said referencing to NewsWhip data that she’s excited to share that they will be one of the first companies to provide the digital and internet phenomenon which is currently trending higher than all the presidential candidates combined.
The animated character of Baby Yoda became an overnight massive phenomenon since its first look in the Disney series in 2019. It became an origin of a wide range of memes and discussions and its adorability won hearts of children and adult alike.
A range of apparels with Baby Yoda images emblazoned are already available at several sites including Amazon and StarWars.Com. However, there was an enormous demand for the stuff toys and figurines of this lovable little Disney character that wasn’t fulfilled until now.
Reportedly, Baby Yoda’s arrival was kept under wraps from everyone so as to prevent any early merchandise and toy catalogues of the character before or immediately after its release. This mysterious tiny tyke was discovered by everyone only with the first episode of the series. It was a deliberate move by the creator Jon Favreau to shield the plotline surrounding Baby Yoga from getting leaked or spoiled.
There is still sometime before you can actually purchase one of those Baby Yoda toys and cuddle to them. The release date for the plush hasn’t been announced yet but Disney’s early estimates in 2019 had stated about Baby Yoda’s merchandise arrival at some point in the first half of 2020.
With the wrap-up of season 1 of The Mandalorian, Disney plans to release an extensive array of Baby Yoda merchandise. It will keep the anticipation and interest afloat among viewers till the arrival of the second season which is expected to hit the screen in autumn 2020.
