One-half of the Russo brothers, Avengers Endgame director, Anthony Russo now owns a landmark in daytime television history.
According to reports from The Los Angeles Times, Russo is the new owner of Arden Villa. The famous mansion featured in the ABC soap opera Dynasty.
The lily pond in the estate is also famous. It featured in one of the Dynasty’s most popular scenes, a brawl between the characters portrayed by Joan Collin sand Linda Evans.
Russo has paid a whopping amount of $15.5 million for the Pasadena estate. The four-story home is 10,000 square feet, with 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Furthermore, it also has a finished basement, attic space, a wine cellar, game rooms with a 2,400 square-foot guest house.
Anthony Russo and his brother, Joe Russo, directed Avengers: Endgame, which went on to become the highest-grossing movie of all time. The film is the finale of Marvel’s Infinity Saga, which has spanned across 22 films.
Speaking on the experience of working on the film, the director duo said that they had “poured our heart and soul into Avengers: Endgame” and had hoped to tell a story that would “inspire audiences around the world.”
Before Endgame, the Russo brothers have previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in the MCU. Besides their work in the MCU, they are also known for their work on the series, Community and Arrested Development.
Avengers: Endgame is now available on home media.
UPCOMING PROJECTS OF THE RUSSO BROTHERS
Meanwhile, the Russo brothers are producing various projects. An upcoming film, 21 Bridges stars Chadwick Boseman, J. K. Simmons, Sienna Miller and is directed by Brian Kirk. Another film Dhaka is also in works. It stars Chris Hemsworth, David Harbour and Bollywood actors Manoj Bajpai, Pankaj Tripathi, Golshifteh Farahani, and Randeep Hooda.
Further, the brothers will helm a new remake of Poltergeist. Besides that, they will direct and produce Cherry, which stars Tom Holland in the lead role.
