The charitable performance was to raise funds for children in Beirut, Lebanon where a massive chemical blast took place at the start of August. Apart from this, they are also raising funds to curb the rapid spreading of the coronavirus.
The clip was shared by actress, and the director of Pitch Perfect 2 and Charlie’s Angels Elizabeth Banks through her official Instagram. Banks had also acted in the three Pitch Perfect movies as the sassy commentator Gail Abernathy McKadden.
“Buckle up kids, the Bellas are back…for a good cause!” Banks captioned the clip, and mentioned how UNICEF is planning to raise money for their #ForEveryChild campaign. In the video’s description, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on families across the globe was discussed, and brought special attention to Lebanon, who is facing a crisis on top of another crisis.

Before the performance kicked off, Banks and John Michael Higgins got into character as the bitter judging duo where they spoke about the song and it’s it’s purpose. The Bellas added their own signature twists to the song which consisted of beat boxing, musical riffs and some powerful vocals.
The song is available for purchase on Amazon and the iTunes store. It can also be be streamed on Spotify.
