Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” is coming to an end real soon. Yes, we know it’s disappointing, but we can’t help either. After the release of Avengers, the Marvel Cinematic Universe expressed their desire to expand the world of movies into television too. They wanted to bring forward a S.H.I.E.L.D series, and hence, they went forward with the series. After six glorious seasons, the seventh season of the series will officially be the last.
There will be 136 episodes in total after season 7 airs. The feeling of bidding farewell to this show isn’t new. The writers made the finale episode of season 5 in such a way that the audience felt it was the end. But ABC called up for another season of the series. So, the fans received season 6, which is airing. ABC thought there was much more they could show, and that is why season 6 came up. And when season 6 was halfway through, Channing Dungey from ABC thought season 7 was a good idea.
During the past San Diego’s Comic-Con, the panel revealed that Season 7 is the last season of the series. The head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb said the show’s team wanted to end things systematically. They didn’t want to disappoint the fans with a cliffhanger and illogical plot points. They thought fans deserved a satisfying conclusion. The series has plenty of dedicated fans who made this show a hit. The series dealt with many intricate storylines throughout the six seasons. So what will season 7 have in store? Here’s what we know.
Season 6 of the series will wrap up soon, and people are obviously excited about what’s coming next. We do not know the premiere date of season 7 yet, but it is better to expect it to release during summer next year. The filming process for the final season is complete. But we feel the makers will release the show in summer 2020 to keep it going as long as possible. Season 6 premiered in May, so it is likely the next season will follow the same pattern.
We won’t get into any spoilers for the final season, but season 7 will surely bring an excellent storyline as the previous seasons. Or it may get even better. Fingers crossed!
