Sasheer Zamata will appear in the upcoming Marvel series “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos”
Sasheer Zamata is all set to be casted in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, the eagerly awaited WandaVision spinoff, as an undisclosed character who is slated to have recurring roles throughout the series on Disney+.
Lead actress Kathryn Hahn, who plays WandaVision bad girl Agatha Harkness, male lead Joe Locke, Aubrey Plaza, who is rumoured to be playing a villain, Ali Ahn, and Maria Dizzia, who are supposed to be playing witches, are all members of the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. According to recent rumours, Eric André will reportedly have a cameo role in upcoming series. Writing and executive producing responsibilities will be performed by Jac Schaeffer, who has an overall contract with Marvel and 20th Television.
WandaVision Plot
Agatha Harkness was cursed to remain in Westview by Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff in the television series WandaVision. It’s unclear how that curse will be lifted now that Maximoff has been declared canonically deceased as a result of the circumstances of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos Plot
Powerful sorceress Agatha Harkness will be the main subject of Coven of Chaos because Wanda left the enemy behind in WandaVision’s finale to live life in Westview, leaving her story unfinished.
As the idea of witches feels like the right concept to combine Doctor Strange’s more grandiose vision of magic with the scary elements, there is hope that we will get a better look at the magical area of the Marvel Universe. Although the specifics of the plot have not yet been revealed, this series has been called a dark comedy.
Zamata Previous Works
Zamata portrayed Ayana on Hulu’s Woke, which was discontinued this year after two seasons, and currently stars as Denise on the ABC sitcom Home Economics, which is presently in its third installment. From 2014 to 2017, she appeared on Saturday Night Live . She was underutilised while she was there and could be most recognised for Black Jeopardy.
Disney+ will premiere Agatha: Coven of Chaos in the winter of 2023.
