After four years of marriage, it looks like Princess Love and Ray J are calling quits to their marriage as Princess Love filed for a divorce on this Tuesday, after living separately for months.
Princess Love, 35, made her name on the Tv show, Love and Hip Hop, filled the divorce in the Los Angeles Superior Court this Tuesday, her former husband Ray J, 39, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor, and entrepreneur.
The couple has two children, Melody, who is one, and Epik, who is just four months old. The divorce did not come as a surprise to anyone acquainted with the fiasco since the couple has had a couple of high-profile fights.
In November of 2019, through her second pregnancy Princess and Ray J had a fiery fight in Las Vegas with differing accounts of what happened. Princess Love accused Ray J of leaving her and her daughter Melody in Las Vegas after their fight, though Ray J insisted, that he had not left Last Vegas.
Although the couple settled their differences after the Las Vegas incident Ray J was self-isolating away from his family amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Ray J stated that Princess will allow him to see their children only after he self-isolates totally alone at a hotel close to her house.
Princess Love had been monitoring Ray J’s Instagram and she saw a sight of a picture of him with his friend Antonio Ward, she commanded Ray J that he restart his week of segregation.
Soon after the Vegas incident, the couple had already set their minds for a divorce as both of them stopped wearing their wedding rings, they waited till this Tuesday to file in the divorce.
‘I’m lonely right now. I don’t want to quarantine by myself. I keep telling Princess, but she says: “If I see one person over there with you, you got to start over,”‘ Ray J said.
The couple had got married at The Cathedral of St. Vibiana, a Catholic church in Los Angeles, in 2016, we hope that they can reconcile their differences despite the divorce and raise their kids in a good environment.
