Harrison Ford returns to TV with ‘The Staircase’ after 26 years
Harrison Ford will be seen in the regular role of his first-ever series “The Staircase.” The series will follow the judgment of a famous American Novelist Michael Peterson. He was accused of murdering his wife in 2001 while he claimed that his wife Kathleen died after falling down the stairs. And the series was initially released in 2004.
In 2003, Michael was released from all the accusations after pleading not guilty. And granted with a new trial in 2017 after he submitted an Alford plea to reduce his charge to manslaughter.
The first season of the French docuseries got five episodes when it was debuted on Netflix in 2018, where a creator Jean-Xavier de Lestrade added new information about Person’s second trial.
When was Harrison last seen in a series?
Harrison last appeared in a scripted series “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” in 1993. He has been announced to reprise his role in the fifth season of Indiana Jones, which is already set to release in 2021. The seasoned director, Steven Spielberg has confirmed that the movie will be Ford’s last as Indy.
In addition to it, Ford will also serve as an executive producer of the series “The Staircase” that Antonio Campos will adapt to Annapurna TV.
