A Stunning New Fashion Campaign That Was Shot In Bella Hadid’s Mom’s Home Over FaceTime!

In these constrained times, models and fashion brands are getting creative to adapt but the lockdown hasn’t stopped Bella Hadid and Jacquemus from making an entire campaign. Bella Hadid, who, like many of us, is working from home at the moment, has featured in the first fashion campaign shot via FaceTime.

Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti worked with Hadid entirely over the phone, for the Jacquemus spring/summer 2020 campaign, and they shot a series of photographs.

The campaign was aptly titled “Jacquemus at home”, Hadid modeled pieces from the spring 2020 collection that was shown last June, in celebration of the designer’s 10th anniversary.

Hadid posted the shoot on her Instagram, captioning it: “Best few hours… reconnecting.”

Bella sported a white suit and statement sunglasses; a lilac bodysuit; a sunshine-yellow ensemble; and also posed nude with signature Jacquemus baggage.

Bella made full use of the space around her; she is presently quarantining at her mom Yolanda’s homestead.

Jacquemus is one of many brands to incorporate a low-key style when it comes to new fashion campaigns, with Zara lately telling its models to shoot their photographs at home despite being able to do a professional photo shoot in a studio amid this pandemic.

Fashion shoots are one of the biggest areas to be impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, but it’s by no means the only area of the industry affected. The mainstream brands have been obligated to close stores with many giving shop spaces to produce hand sanitizer and PPE’s for NHS workers. All live events and fashion shows have also been put on hold for the probable future and it was also announced this week that London Fashion Week would go digitally this season.

With everything going online now, it’ll be interesting to see how creative brands and stars have to be in order to endorse the brand.
