The sequel to 2017 movie directed by Andy Muschietti, and written by Gary Dauberman, is based on the 1986 horror novel ‘It’ by the award-winning writer, Stephen King. As confirmed by the team to Digital spy, the movie is 2 hours 45 minutes long; however, Andy is confident that since pacing is good, people will not find it difficult and uncomfortable to sit for almost 3 hours for a movie. A Director’s Cut

According to the team, many scenes had to be edited out due to time constraints of a theatrical run. But all the significant parts left out from the movie will be further released in the form of a director’s cut.

The producer affirms that the brilliance of those parts makes it worthy for the movie lovers to watch them at a later date. A director’s cut will only merit the movie in this scenario, and it’ll add to the overall experience of viewing IT Chapter 2.
