A Christmas Story Sequel Confirms Erinn Hayes, River Drosche, and Julianna Layne

Three New Faces In A Christmas Story Sequel 

In a remake of the classic A Christmas Story sequel, three new faces are conformed. American actress Erinn Hayes, who appeared in Holly Slept Over has joined the cast.

Along with her 8-years old child actor, River Drosche, also confirmed to join in the sequel. He appeared in the Miracle Workers (2019), and in 2015 released Bunk’d, Rookie (2018).

The 7-year-old pretty actress, Julianna Layne, will also be seen in the movie. She appeared in 2019 released Prodigal Son, and lastly seen in 2021 released, Christmas in the City directed by Michael Buble.

Just Friends actress, Julie Hagerty was also in talk to join the film and now a report confirmed her presence in the sequel. That meant, Hagerty also play an important role in Warner Bros’ upcoming sequel.

The trio will be seen together in Warner Bros.’s upcoming film A Christmas Story Christmas, along with Hagerty. It is a sequel to the classic film A Christmas Story, released in 1983. A comedy produced by René DuPont and Bob Clark. The film was widely appreciated and won several awards.

Other cast members 

If you remember its original cast, Peter Billingsley, who played Ralphie in the classic blockbuster, was returning for its sequel as well. Some of the other faces you might see in the Christmas Story sequel are that of Ian Petrella, known in the film as Randy Parker; Scott Schwartz as Flick; and RD Robb reprises his role as Schwartz.

Screenplay by Nick Schenk, also serving as an executive producer. With him, Clay Kaytis is handling the direction. Wild West Picture Show handles the production whereas Billingsley and Vince Vaughn are producers.

Now after such a long time when its sequel is finally coming, why won’t the fans be happy? The film will premiere on HBO Max. Its release date is yet to be revealed.
