A 7 year old juvenile invited to The Voice show as he befriends with Blake Shelton

The Voice coach, Blake Shelton meets a 7-year-old fan, Colton Harkness, on the set of The Voice.

An unforgettable experience for Colton

This cute little chap flew all the way from Indiana to California along with his family to catch up himself with his iconic star, Blake Shelton. Colton Harkness, who has cerebral palsy, witnessed the semi-finals of NBC’s popular singing competition, The Voice, in-person.

As per Kids Wish Network Executive Director Tam Lai, the team thanks Blake Shelton for giving his time to his young fan and they hoped Colton was equally inspired to meet his icon. The child also got a VIP experience as he met The Voice winner and a country singer, Jake Root. The reports also claim that the kid had a jolly time with the other The Voice judges, Gwen Stefani and John Legend.

After a brief encounter between the country singer, Blake Shelton and Colton Harkness, the former seemed to have developed a friendship with the latter. During the interaction, Harkness gifted Shelton with a Kids Wish Network wishes granter hat as he accepted the friendship offer presented before him by Shelton.

Colton and his family later attended the Califonia’s Disneyland. Colton’s mom Kelsey quoted that she was pretty excited seeing her son’s reaction on meeting the famous personality, Blake Shelton.

Before this interaction, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, an aspiring officer, honored Harkness as an honorary deputy in front of his classmates.

Colton Harkness is a part of the Kids Wish Network. This Network is a non-profit organization who supports all those children suffering from any condition. Established in 1997, this organization is solely dedicated to improving the lifestyles of these children and creating happy memories amongst them.

It was an alluring experience for Colton to be a part of The Voice semifinals’ episode.
