Upcoming Korean short-form horror series 4 minutes 44 seconds from Lotte Entertainment has revealed its cast, and it is looking fantastic. The project will be Lotte Entertainment’s first where they hade done content material planning, format, and plot.
The series will contain 8 episodes, each with a runtime of 4 minutes and 44 seconds, and shows different lives inside an apartment, and the stories will be short, but impactful.
The cast and stories
4 minutes and 44 seconds has a massive line-up, comprising of versatile actors and singers who are turning towards acting. This includes Lovelyz’s Yoo Jiae, Ham Yeon Ji, SHINee’s Onew, INFINITE’s Sungyeol, Kim So Jung (Sowon), Lim Nayoung, Lee Soo Min, Kwon Hyun Bin, Kim Ji Hoon, Park Tae In, Jang Young Nam, Jo Ji Seung, Ryu Sung Hyun, and more.
The show is going to be Yoo Jiae’s debut acting job. Meanwhile, Onew and Sungyeol had been part of various projects over the past decade.
The episodes will highlight various topics such as ASMR, package deliveries, loud neighbors. Onew will star as a person who is haunted by mysterious noises, Ham Yeon Ji will play a mother to a young girl, Lim Nayoung and Lee Soo Min will play a couple, and Kwon Hyun Bin, Kim Ji Hoon, and Park Tae In will play close friends in the mini horror series 4 minutes and 44 seconds.
Production status
4 minutes and 44 seconds’ production status was provided by SM Entertainment, Onew’s agency, who announced that filming has started on December 1. No release date has been announced, but given the short duration overall, we can expect it to arrive anywhere between mid to late 2022.
