However, there are some changes in the norms this time. The controversial teen drama will have only ten episodes in its season 4 rather than it’s usual 13 episodes.

According to Brain, the ten episodes of the show will serve the story better, and ten episodes will be ending in a sweet spot to them. He thinks that these many episodes will be a nice length for this particular season. However, the fans think that it should have 13 episodes because of the title is “13 reasons why”.

You might be surprised to know that season 4 is the end of the series. However, showrunner Brian Yorkey said that this is also done for a specific reason, and it’s good to end the show here. At the beginning of the series, it was supposed to be of only one season. But then Brain got attached to the characters and developed three more seasons for it.

However, the show can’t be continued for long because it’s kinda suspicious to continue a high school show more than four seasons. The students are gonna graduate this season. Thus, it’s the correct time to end the story. Although the show could proceed with the student’s lives after their schooldays. But the showrunner wants us to imagine that. He isn’t gonna talk too much about their life after school.
