Tatiana Maslany makes her superhero debut as lawyer Jennifer Walters
Marvel Studios has released the official trailer for She-Hulk! The Disney+ series introduces the iconic Marvel character, as well as actress Tatiana Maslany into the world of Marvel. Disney+ has been a great platform to flesh out upcoming Marvel characters before they join big team-ups. It also manages to show the characters in a more grounded manner, while also dealing with all that is fantastical in the Marvel Universe. Let’s read about She-Hulk in detail below.
What is She-Hulk about?
The series definitely takes an approach the MCU hasn’t taken before. It follows Jennifer Walters, an attorney at law, and a cousin of Bruce Banner himself. In the brief trailer, we get to see Jennifer being appointed as a lawyer for defending superhero-related cases. Or as stated in the trailer, “the face of the superhuman law division.” That is because she can also transform into a big, green, and superhuman being capable of mass destruction. However, she has to rely on Bruce to get the hang of it and use her power for good.
The trailer showed the return of Mark Ruffalo as Banner/The Hulk, and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/The Abomination. Roth was seen in human form and Abomination form inside as cell. He was last seen in Shang-Chi. The two characters will be playing a prominent role in the series.
She-Hulk Additional Cast
The series will see the return of Benedict Wong as Wong, after last being seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The other cast includes Jameela Jamil as Titania, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Amelia, and Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ close friend.
She-Hulk will premiere on August 17, following the end of Miss Marvel.
