Will the Spider-Man star accept the offer?

Tom Holland is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in Hollywood at present. After starring in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the biggest movie of 2021, everyone wants a piece of him. And now, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has invited the 25-year-old to star in the show’s movie adaptation.

In a recent interview for his new movie Uncharted, Holland had admitted that he once attempted an audition for the BBC series. However, he was rejected in the end. Holland did not elaborate further, and many of his fans speculated which role it could’ve been. And now, Harry Kirton, who plays Finn Shelby in the series weighed in on the subject. Kirton stated that it depends on when he auditioned. If it was recent, it could’ve been for a villain role.

Knight gave his opinion on the matter at the series’ premiere in Birmingham. He stated that it could’ve been a big role that Holland was auditioning for. Knight extended his courtesy to the actor by saying that if he wants a role in the movie, they will have him. For now, Holland has not given a response. The actor is currently in preparation for his role in Apple TV+’s The Crowded Room.

It is unclear what Knight had in mind while inviting Holland on board. He had long talked about ending the successful show with a movie, and perhaps he has a role for Holland in mind.

It will have to wait, because there is no official release date for the movie, nor has it even begun production. Season 6 has just dropped, and we are awaiting early reactions. But it will be exciting to see Tom part of such a beloved show.
