Fallout with Cardi B

The following several years, according to Madonna, were spent being interviewed by condescending people who wanted to humiliate her for asserting her femininity. She was derisively referred to as a w——, a witch, a sinner, and a demon. She hurled shade at Miley Cyrus for entering the scene like a wrecking ball, Cardi B for rapping about her WAP, and Kim Kardashian for appearing on the cover of any magazine with her face. She declared her welcome to them.

Cardi B reacted angrily to the singer’s suggestion that the sex-positive message of her song “WAP” was inspired by the singer’s song “Material Girl” by saying that she had literally paid respect to the Pop Diva so many times because she had grown up listening to her music. She claimed that Madonna could still convey her message without using clown emojis or acting slick. She even referred to Madonna as a letdown.

Last Friday, Madonna marked the 30th anniversary of her divisive 1992 sex book with a message on her Instagram Story, slamming those who had sex-shamed her while providing an influence for a whole younger breed of personalities.

She recalled writing about her sexual desires and sharing her satirical perspective on sexuality in the book S.E.X., which she released thirty years prior. In addition to pictures of her naked, the book also had pictures of men kissing men, women kissing women, and loving everybody.
