Henry Cavill Fulfills Nerdy Goal by Visiting Warhammer World, Employees Share Photos on Twitter

A proud moment for the Warhammer community

Henry Cavill never shied away from waving his nerd flag for everyone to see. In fact, he is very proud of his hobbies, which are not usually seen in movie stars. The actor landed the role of Geralt in The Witcher series, and is now set for some other video game adaptation as well.

Cavill has now made the trip of a lifetime – visiting the home of his beloved Warhammer 40,000.

The actor did not personally share the news, the employees at Games Workshop did. Cavill looks happy as a kid in a toy shop and posed for photos. The photos also seem to hint that Cavill was there for some promotional video. For those who are unaware, Warhammer has a streaming service called Warhammer+. Games Workshop showcases their games for fans to watch and enjoy, and it’s safe to assume that Henry has a subscription.

The workers praised the actor and spoke of how humble he was and how he showed the same love for their hobby. It is evident that the actor has spent numerous hours admiring the sights, and looking at all the products.

Future projects?

Cavill’s love for Warhammer became known to the public after the actor mentioned it multiple times during promos for The Witcher season 2. In fact, he even teased at times that he might get involved in a Warhammer project. He said he looked like a younger version of the Emperor of Mankind, before he became a corpse hooked onto a supercomputer and consumed thousands of human souls per day.
