The duo will be starring in The Last Thing He Told Me
Apple TV+ has casted Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau opposite Jennifer Garner in their new limited series. Apple is adapting bestselling mystery novel The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave. Dave is also part of the project as its co-creator. Let’s look in detail about what the project will be about.
About The Last Thing He Told Me
The Last Thin He Told Me has enjoyed a fair amount of success in media and even made its way to the Reese Witherspoon Book Club. Witherspoon and her Hello Sunshine production company will be serving as executive producers on the show.
In a report by Deadline, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has joined Garner and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Angourie Rice. The story is about Hannah (Garner) and her sixteen-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Rice) forming an unexpected relationship. They bond over Coster-Waldau’s character Owen, Bailey’s father and Hannah’s new husband. Owen has mysteriously disappeared, and the only thing he left behind for Hannah is a note saying “protect her.” Soon they find out that Owen has many dark secrets, but it ends up bringing them closer.
The miniseries will be directed by Olivia Newman, whose other directorial Where the Crawdads Sing is getting close to its release date.
