Australian singer Cody Simpson became a lot more famous than he was after he started dating Miley Cyrus, but after eight months, the couple split.
Now it looks like he’s making new songs as he was seen strumming a guitar in his backyard on a video shared on Wednesday. “Riffing in my new yard,” he captioned it, while looking to be in good spirits. His guitar skills are also very good.
Life after Miley
Cody’s fans were thrilled at the prospect of getting to hear his new songs, and shouted words of encouragement in the comments. Cody had recently released Hoochie Coochie Man along with the North Mississippi Allstars, which had a country feel to it.
Cody’s personal life is usually on the news more than his professional one, as it seems the singer the singer is dating model Marloes Stevens. The couple have been spotted out and about on LA many times even though Simpson hasn’t confirmed anything. On every social media platform, the singer is very much single, after his split from the Hannah Montana star in August.
Cody has also unfollowed Miley on Instagram, even though she said that the two are still friends. During a recent Instagram Live session, Miley said that the two are just deciding who they want to be in life, and what they want to do, and asked fans to not make a big story if they are seen hanging out next week. She also added that they had been friends for ten years and will continue to be so.
Miley dated Simpson following her divorce from Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
