After the massive hit of the first season of ‘Made in Abyss‘, the production crew is ready to make season 2 another hit on the screens for which the otakus are enthusiastically waiting.
The first season of ‘Made in Abyss’ which was released on July 7, 2017, was a massive hit. The series of 13 episodes has gained an enormous fanbase who are eagerly waiting for the upcoming season of the series. In fact, the series was so hit that a two-hour movie titled ‘Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul’ was released on 17th January 2020.
The anime series is a manga adaption written by Akihito Tsukhushi. Takeshobo’s Digital Platform Web Presence Gamma published the manga series which was later adapted to an anime by Kinema Citrus.
For your good news, Season 2 of the anime has completed its filming and might hit the screens sooner.

The release date of Season 2 of the anime series has not been unveiled officially yet. However, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 situation aroused. We can still have good hopes and should wait for the official nod of the production crew to release a launch date sooner.
The storyline of season 2 will mostly focus on the lead characters of the anime Reiko, Reg, and Nanachi.
It would be exciting to see how the story takes place in the new season as the first season has increased the expectations of the fans.
