Black Panther 2: What do we know so far? Will Chadwick Boseman join the cast? Read for all details.

With Marvel’s Stage 4 about to start, how soon can we expect to see the king of Wakanda?

T’Challa, the king of Wakanda had a magnificent live-action debut through 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, where he was introduced as a third party with his own agenda and had to get involved in the fight between Captain America and Iron Man. In the brief time he had in the movie, we got to see T’Challa grow from a vengeful prince to a kind ruler who understood the harshness of the world and never let his pride control him.

In 2018’s solo movie he continued to grow as a king and became an ally for the Avengers. In Avengers: Infinity War, he led the battle in Wakanda against Thanos’ army. He was turned to dust in the end, but was brought back by Bruce Banner in Avengers: Endgame.

Now, what will be the king’s role in future movies?

Black Panther 2 Details

Black Panther 2 has been announced in the list of movies involved in Marvel’s Stage 4. And the release date given is for 2022, 4 years after his solo movie. We will be seeing Chadwick Boseman returning as T’Challa along with Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira and possibly Lupita Nyong’o as well.

The movie will of course be set after the events of Endgame and we will be seeing the world getting back to normal. But we still have no idea about the state of Wakanda in its five years without a ruler. The plot can be centered around that, or it will be tied up to the stories of the other heroes who will be forming the new Avengers, after Tony’s death and Cap’s retirement.
