Grace & Frankie is all set to return for their seventh and final outing on Netflix.
The premier comedy series has been a great success, and no doubt it should be, because Netflix had recruited the talents of Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin to play the main roles and had hired the creator of NBC’s Friends to create the series.
Season 6 of the series is available on Netflix as of January 15th, 2020 globally. It was on September 4th, 2019 that we got the word , Grace & Frankie had already been renewed ahead of its January 2020 season 6 release date.
"We’ll miss these two old gals, Grace and Frankie, as much as many of their fans will, but we’ll still be around." – Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin

Although, the show got its seventh season renewal, it was also announced that it would be the final.
We don’t have any official statements regarding this, but Netflix has chosen season 7 to be the final season, may be due to the showrunners naturally wanting to conclude the show. Netflix is somewhat notorious for axing shows quite quickly, and also Grace & Frankie has had plenty of time in the limelight.
In an interview with variety, Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris disclosed that it was thrilling and somehow fitting, that their show about challenges, as well as the beauty and dignity of aging, will be the oldest show on Netflix
Marta Kauffman already has got several new projects in work .Season 4, 5 and 6 of Grace and Frankie have all been released on Netflix in the first month of the year. So we can expect that season 7 of Grace & Frankie will be on Netflix in January 2021.
Since production is on pause and its continuation on hold indefinitely, that could mean that we see it delayed into the middle of 2021. Nothing is confirmed on this front as of now, but we will keep waiting.
