Will DC Finally Redeem Itself With Justice League Part 2 ? Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming movie

DC has been on the upward trend, with good movies like Shazam and the Aquaman. It had been a few bad years for DC with movies such as Suicide Squad and Justice League failing to hit the right notes with the viewers.

Justice League was a major disappointment for all the fans, so can DC redeem itself with Justice League Part 2? Here’s everything you need to about the upcoming movie.

Justice League 2 Release Date:

The first Justice League movie was announced in 2014, to follow the likes Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman as DC’s answer to the blockbuster Avengers. It was reported that Justice League Part 2 would follow on June 14, 2019.

Well, it’s almost April 2020, and there is still no sign of Justice League 2. With Wonder Woman 1984, The Flash, releasing in the year 2020 and with no news about the production, it will be a miracle to see the sequel any time soon.

Justice League 2 Cast:

Justice League also ended with setting up of a new supervillain team– after Lex Luthor was revealed to have escaped from Arkham Asylum and formed an alliance with the assassin Deathstroke. So, we might see Jesse Eisenberg and Joe Manganiello in the upcoming movie.

The team to fight them would be Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Flash (Ezra Miller). There was also speculation that Green Lantern might also return.

Justice League 2 Plot

From what we have heard the second part will have supervillain Darkseid, who would come to level the planet after his minion Steppenwolf failed to do so, and we might see an Infinity War sort of story with the superheroes being vanquished and then returning to defeat the supervillain team.

DC has been focusing on individual heroes at the moment and it would be difficult to get an assembled cast to finish off the second part right now. So all we can do right now is wait until any further updates.
