Guardian’s of the Galaxy Volume 3: Will Gamora return to the team? Find out all you need to know

With the coronavirus putting everything on hold, James Gunn, the director of the upcoming third Guardians of The Galaxy movie will not be affected by delays during the coronavirus pandemic.

This certainly is quite surprising since we have gotten so used to everything getting delayed or canceled. We are sure that fans will be happy to hear this news, and we have got everything that you might want to know about the upcoming movie.

Guardian of The Galaxy Volume 3 Cast:

We don’t have any official updates about any new cast members but most of the leading cast will return for volume 3. The first Guardians of the Galaxy released in 2014 and its 2017 sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, was led by actor Chris Pratt who played charismatic thief Peter Quill. The movie also featured Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon. The team was then joined by Karen Gillan as Nebula and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.

Returning to direct the movie will be James Gunn who was previously fired from the project in July 2018 with the uncovering of some controversial tweets from his past.

The plot of the movie:

From what we know there are two main storylines in the movie. In the first story, Rocket will be on the hunt for his creator to kill him, while in the second storyline, Adam Warlock will be trying to find the Guardians themselves, as he wants to kill them.

We are also hearing about one of the main characters dying, which is consistent with the previous two parts. Groot died in the first part (sort of), while Yondu dies in the second movie and we may see another heartbreak in the third movie as well.

Release Date: When can we expect the movie?

We had high hopes that Volume 3 would land in 2019, but a director controversy put an end to our hopes. It was announced at the Comic-Con International 2019, the details on a whopping 10 projects for 2020 and 2021.

Marvel Studios’ boss, Kevin Feige, confirmed that Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 are in the line up of upcoming movies, but there was no mention of the dates, and we guess that Volume 3 may be pushed to 2022.
