Bofuri Season 2: Check How “Absolute Defense”worked Out for Maple and Her Tour with Sally

Bofuri is a Japanese novel series that is now converted into a web series that was written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin. 

The series of BOFURI is inspired by a novel that was sold out in the year 2017. the series now takes the book into an animated version for the fans. the second season is mostly supposed to be a continuation of the 5th volume and season 1 having covered the first four parts of the novel. The first season ended with a cumulative of 12 episodes.

The series revolves around the story of  Kaede Honjou started playing the VRMMO game NewWorld Online as the character Maple upon receiving an invitation from  Risa Shiramine, a friend. Since she’s a novice at that game, she opts for self-defense and gets attacked on by the rabbits in addition to not being able to cast her magic.

As a result, she is forced to opt for “Absolute Defense” which sets her off to a journey of amusement and adventure.

Will there be a second season?

with Silver Link Studio having confirmed that there will be a second part to it, it can be expected to be renewed. The trailer is already out and is now awaited for the episodes by the fans. The season will mostly be aired in the fall of 2020.

Funimation has also confirmed on their twitter account about the release of the second season which becomes a piece of good news for the fans awaiting the second season.

What does the second season have for the fans?

the season is going to continue on the same lines of season one of the series and infact, have the character Maple, commonly known as Kaede Honjo and Sally. This season will have a new set of friendships introduced and manage with the bugs as well in addition.Maple will remember of an anomality that she was suffering from in the past and ends up triggering a bug while remembering about Sally.

With a new level triggering in the game, Maple always wanted to go with her mates, however, she even wants Sally to stay behind in the same while accompanying her.

Does it have an English translator yet?

no. the series is sold out in the native language and needs to be translated into various languages to be sold out. The first season had an English version that was premiered in FUNimation and needs to be translated for the second season as well.

Is the title track ready?

No, the theme song of the series isn’t composed yet. The news of its composition isn’t confirmed yet and hence cant be assumed to be prepared as of yet. The fist season title song was called the“Kyukyoku Unbalance” and was performed by Afilia Saga, and the ED “Play The World” by Riko Sasaki.
