“The 100” is Coming Back With its Seventh and Last Season!

The 100 is coming back with its seventh season and it is reported to be the last. The first season of The 100 premiered on March 19th, 2014. The science-fiction series is based on the dystopian science-fiction novel series The 100 by Kass Morgan. It is centered around a group of young convicts who are also the survivors of a nuclear decimation. They are returned back to earth as the first humans to step on the obliterated planet. The seventh season will pick up from the ending of the sixth season.

When is it releasing?

The date of release for the newest season hasn’t been made public. CW, the production studio will probably reveal the release date before the end of this year. Fans are excited for the latest and last season of the series. It can be expected to be released around the year 2021.

The whole series is based on the novel series The 100 by Kass Morgan. In which the survivors of a nuclear war affected earth are safely kept in a spaceship called Ark which revolves around the planet. The Ark becomes overpopulated and one hundred young criminals are sent back to the war-ridden earth to check its condition. The 100 survivors discover the ground state of the planet and fend off the hostile Grounders along with communicating with the Ark.

Eliza Taylor will be cast as Clarke Griffin, the lead of the series, Marie Avgeropoulos will play Octavia Blake, Bob Morley will play Bellamy Blake, and Lindsey Morgan will play Raven Reyes. Since Henry Ian Cusick’s character Marcus Kane and Paige Turco’s character Abby Griffin died in the last season they won’t be returning to reprise their roles. Shannon Kook will also be back in the seventh season. Shelby Flannery will also return as an older Hope.
