Has Netflix released the second batch of ‘Studio Ghibli’ Anime Films? Which films premiered this time? Read to know all details!

Netflix has just announced that the next batch of the anime films from the Studio Ghibli will be streaming. All the fans who love watching anime are just so excited by this news. The first batch was released on 1st February, 2020.

This second batch of anime was premiered in UK & Ireland territories from March 1, 2020 onward. Also, the third batch is scheduled to release in April 2020.

WHAT ALL ANIME FILMS WILL BE STREAMING?

There are almost 21 films from Studio Ghibli making their way to Netflix. Some of the anime films are given below:

Akame ga Kill!

It was released in 2014. This anime is about a boy named Tatsumi, who visits the capital in order to earn a livelihood. He faced various challenges in doing so.

Arrietty

It was released in 2010. The story tells about a girl, Arrietty who lives under the roofs of suburban home.

The Cat Returns

It was released in 2002. In this, there is a shy girl who has an ability to talk to cats. She rescued a cat who turns out to be a Prince of magical world.

My Neighbors the Yamadas

It was released in 1999. The anime tells about the lives of a modern Japanese family. It depicts the issues like relationship between father and son or husband and wife, losing a child in a store, and other such cases.

Princess Mononoke

It was released in 1997. It depicts the era of war affected 14th century. Princess Mononoke sees Ashitaka seeking for a cure of animal attack by Shishigami, the deer- like God.

There are various other anime like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Spirited Away, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, etc.

After these releases, Netflix is all set with the another batch of anime to be released next month.
