Netflix is soon going to launch a direct sequel to the very popular masters of the universe series. The title of the show will be Masters of the universe revelation and it will be an anime series created by Kevin Smith. It will be produced by produced by Powerhouse Animation Studio. Along with Kevin Smith, four other writers Marc Bernardin (Castle Rock), Eric Carrasco (Supergirl), Diya Mishra (October Faction) and Tim Sheridan (The Death and Return of Superman) will also be writing the script.
Robert David will be the executive producer.

There no announcement or leak regarding the release date.
The earliest we can expect the show to release is summer 2020.

It has been confirmed the Masters of the universe: Revelation is a limited series. So season 2 is not happening.
What’s the storyline
Revelation is a direct sequel to the original Masters of the Universe. He Man is going to be the lead hero while Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man will be the villains.
Teela will have to solve the mystery of the sword of power and save the world. He will also have to uncover the secrets of gray skull.
