Season -6 of House of Cards was released in 2018. From then, all the fans are anxiously waiting for Season-7 to happen. But the confirmation that there is no season-7 has come, which is a big disappointment for the fans.
House of cards was a web series aired on Netflix, created by Beau Willimon. House of cards is set in Washington DC. It is the story of Frank Underwood and his ambitious wife, Claire Underwood. Frank is passed over for appointment as secretary of the state, and with the aid of his wife Claire, he initializes an elaborate plan to attain power. The series deals with pragmatism, manipulation, betrayal, and power. Up to now, six seasons have been aired.

House of Cards had many positive reviews, and have received many awards. The show has won 33 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and eight Golden Globe award nominations.

House of cards was one of the earliest shows that attracted many viewers and many subscribers to Netflix. The sudden ending of the show disappointed not only the viewers but also the makers of the show. The reason behind this was the allegations of sexual harassment made on Kevin Spacey, the main actor in 2017.
The allegation created great controversy, and the makers decided to end up the series with the sixth episode. The first five seasons were a visual treat for the audience, and in the sixth season, the story arc was so turned that Kevin Spacey was eventually removed from the cast. The sixth and final season was produced in a way that excluded Kevin Spacey in the narrative, Kevin Spacey was killed in between the seasons. But we can hopefully wait for new series to come soon on Netflix.
