Kellan Lutz and his wife Brittany Lutz are in extreme grief as in an unfortunate turn of events, the couple lost their unborn baby girl. Brittany suffered a miscarriage 6 months into the pregnancy.
The Twilight star re-posted the black-and-white picture of Brittany cradling the baby bump that she posted on her Instagram account while breaking this tragic news. While the picture is absolutely gorgeous, the captions of both the posts will break your heart.
Starting with, “My Wonder Woman,” Kellan broke this heart-shattering news to all his followers. He wrote in the caption that it had been a “crazy rollercoaster” week for the couple who experienced a lot of emotions.
Expressing his emotions, he wrote that their “heartbrokenness” was taken to “another level,” but he is “grateful” for the past six months and the “journey,” that it was. He further wrote that in life they might not get all the answers but they will remain faithful. Writing “I love You,” to his wife, he thanked everyone for their love and support in the private time of the family, their understanding of the situation and support.
In an emotional goodbye to their daughter, Kellan concluded that he can’t wait to see their baby girl in heaven whenever God will call them home.
Brittany too penned down the pain and sorrow of losing her unborn baby, whom she had nurtured in her womb for 6 months, in the caption of her post. “Baby girl,” addressing her daughter, she wrote that it was her absolute honour to be her mother “these last 6 months.” Conveying her job of feeling her inside her womb, she continued that she did her best and it was an absolute joy for her to see her daughter’s little face “all those times on that screen” and her tiny kicks.
Writing about the tragic loss, she said that she doesn’t know why that happened the way it did, but a part of her finds peace knowing that her daughter didn’t experience pain or heartache and never will. Expressing her profound love for her baby, she added that she in the arms of Jesus and one day she and Kellan will get to meet her for real. Bidding goodbye, her letter for daughter concluded, “Until I see you in heaven… your mommy loves you so much.”
Talking about the miscarriage, she wrote that she is not ready to talk about what happened, and she is not sure she ever will. Appreciating her husband and family, she continued that she is so grateful for the “most amazing husband” who’d been by her side the entire time and she has the best most supportive family.
Extending her gratitude to others, she wrote that the prayers from their friends meant everything. She continued that “incredible doctor and the amazing team at UCLA Medical Center who kept her alive are the real MVPs.” She thanked the people who donated blood to her- “I have never been more grateful for you. Without you people like me wouldn’t be here.”
And with a thank you to people for respecting their privacy, she concluded the caption writing in the end that she will take some time away to process and heal.
The couple got married in 2017 and had revealed in November 2019 that they were expecting their first child.
