Netflix is all set to launch a new comedy series “ Space Force” in January 2020. The idea straight away ignited the busy and creative minds of Daniels and Carell when President Donald Trump announced the plan for the formation of a sixth branch of the military, dedicated to protecting American interest in space. The announcement does create the buzz globally. Soon the idea weaved into reality, and it should be presented in front of the audience with the dash of humor. Space Force 10 episode series, set to premiere in 2020. It will be a workplace comedy about a group of people on Earth. They are tasked with establishing the sixth branch of the new command.
For “Space Force” series seven new cast members are roped in which includes John Malkovich, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, and Diana Silvers. They will appear throughout in series in regular roles whereas Jimmy O Yang, Don Lake, and Alex Sparrow has landed in guest star roles.
The series is co-created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels and will be produced by Daniels, Carell and Howard Klein through 3 Arts Entertainment.
Both the creators have worked together for successful “The Office” series. They both have creatively managed to bring the office humor on the table of every household.
As the fans of “The Office” are disappointed as its closing is near, but they can again enjoy the friendly banter and laughter in Space Force. But for that, one needs to wait patiently.
Paul King ( the Paddington Movies) is set to direct the pilot episode for Space Force and who knows maybe more.
Netflix has still yet to announce the release date for this new workplace comedy. Let us keep the spirits high.
