Claudia Ochoa Felix, known as the Kim Kardashian of organized crime, was one of the top assassins, who ranked high in the Sinaloa cartel, which was formerly lead by Joaquin El Chapo Guzman before his extradition, was found dead in her lover’s bed under the circumstances deemed mysterious. She was known as the Anthrax Empress.
The 35-year-old lead assassin was found dead in a house in Isla Musala in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, according to local reports. She apparently died due to a suspected pulmonary aspiration, which means she choked to death due to perhaps accidentally inhaling an object or fluid into her windpipe and lungs. Reports are not conclusive as of now.
Given her professional associations, the question of whether her death is an accident or otherwise is something that has to be investigated. Reports into her whereabouts before her death reveal that she was at a nightclub in the city of Culiacan on the day of her demise, and later returned to the man’s house at night. It was her lover who in the morning, noticed that she was unresponsive and called the emergency services. Her body has been taken to the forensic lab for an autopsy, to determine if there was foul play.
The investigation is still ongoing, and no important information will be released about an ongoing investigation. All that is known from what prosecutor Juan Jose Rios Estavillo shared that there were alcohol and other substances in her body and that the official cause of her death was suffocation. The full autopsy results are not available.
