Charmed actress Holly Marie Combs got married to her longtime love Mike Ryan on Saturday in Carmel, Calif. According to People publication reports the couple got married and exchanged vows in a closed and intimate ceremony in a redwood grove at the Santa Lucia Preserve, with close friends and family.
The newlywed couple had met in 2016 at Ryan’s Los Angeles restaurant, Xoc. Combs met Ryan five years after her divorce from her second husband David W. Donoho, with whom she has three children. Holly and Mike married after a two-year-long engagement, when Mike had proposed the actress in September 2017. Holly had shared the proposal picture of her ring on her Instagram. Combs revealed in an interview how Mike had involved all their children in the proposal.
While both Mike and Holly have been low-key and private about their relationship, Holly has recently shared pictures of the two of them on her Instagram. She captioned the picture saying, “I’ve been wrong about a million times, but I got one thing right …. you. Baby, I got one thing right.”
Present at the wedding were Comb’s former co-stars, Brian Krause, and Drew Fuller. She has previously shared how she was not looking for someone and a relationship and was happy just raising her kids as a single parent. She the elaborated to say, “It’s that age-old story of when you’re not looking for something, that’s when you find it. And it smacked me right in the face!”
Both Mike and Molly had kids previously, so they were careful and slow and courted for a long time before deciding to settle down. Ryan has a 17-year-old daughter from his first marriage. She said in an interview, “Our connection was so immediate. Just when I stopped looking for the perfect person, the perfect person showed up.”
