Momoa’s recent message led many to speculate that Zack Snyder is returning to the DCEU
Jason Momoa has quickly come forward to clarify a recent message he made, which caused rumors of Zack Snyder returning to direct a DCEU project. The DCEU has constantly been changing in the last decade, mainly due to differences between the fanbase but primarily because of poor management and internal conflicts. But things are finally looking bright for the comic book franchise now that Black Adam has been released.

Jason Momoa recently shared a puzzling message after the wake of James Gunn and Peter Safran were announced to be co-CEOs of the DCEU. He said that he’s excited to be working on a new DC project under the new management, and it has been a dream of his. He also said that the new information was “some of the most exciting news of my life.” He also gave his love to a “maestro”, which many believed was Snyder, who introduced Momoa in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Jason Momoa has now come to set the record straight by talking about what he actually meant. In an interview with CinemaBlend, he said that while he cannot reveal what’s happening behind the scenes at DC, he said he cannot be more thrilled about Gunn and Safran being in charge of the franchise. He said that these two pieces of information have no relation. What he’s excited about greatly trumps the DC news. He even called it the Holy Grail, and that it was something different.
Will Snyder return?
Despite Jason Momoa clarifying what he meant, the question of Snyder’s return is still in most fans’ minds. Snyder did not have a good time with the business side of the DCEU, and many didn’t appreciate his films either. Gunn has proven himself to be more accommodating of fans’ interests, so there is a chance that he can bring something about future Justice League films, seeing the way the Snyder Cut ended.
