Jordan is also making his directorial debut with the movie
The first look of Michael B. Jordan starter Creed III is out. The posters were of Jordan and his co-star/opponent Jonathan Majors, and it’s intense, to say the least. What’s also interesting is that Jordan is making his directorial debut with this movie.
Let’s take a look at the posters and the story.
Creed III Details
Creed III is the latest spin-off from the Rocky franchise, but Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa will not be gracing us with his presence this time. The first poster is of Jordan sitting in his corner, with his character Adonis Creed staring straight at the camera. The words “You can’t run” is written at the top. Meanwhile, Majors’ Anderson Dame stares from the opposite corner, with the words “…from your past” written at the top. While nothing about the story is out, we can guess that Dame is likely to be someone from Creed’s past. After all, they will need to pull out all the stops since Creed III is the final movie.
The movies have been directed by Ryan Coogler (Black Panther), but Jordan has taken the reigns this time. Coogler is still on board as an executive producer, while being busy with production on Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. He is also involved in story writing with screenplay writers Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin.
The Story So Far
The last fight of Adonis was against Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who was responsible for the death of Adonis’ father Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers). From seeing how jacked Majors got for the role, it’s clear that they will be going all out to deliver the most intense fight to finish the series.
Creed III will release worldwide on March 3, 2023, or 3/3/23.
