The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, is planning to attend a Beverly Hills fundraiser this month in California. This has led Will and Grace star Eric McCormack to call out all attending stars and blacklist them for attending the fundraiser with President Trump. Eric McCormack tweeted out to The Hollywood Reporter to release the list of stars attending the event so that Hollywood Democrats could be clear about who they will be working with and who will be blacklisted in the future. The tweet read, “Kindly report on everyone attending this event, so the rest of us can be clear about whom we don’t wanna work with.”

This tweet of McCormack has led to many angry comments about the actor’s plea to a blacklist. Many have taken to Twitter to call out the actor for his harsh views and segregationist outlook. The tweets have pointed out how irrespective of difference of opinion, the event is a fundraiser and depriving people and causes in need is unfair.

His Will has joined Eric McCormack and Grace co-star Debra Messing to blacklist the attendants of the event. She tweeted out, “Please print a list of all attendees, please. The public has a right to know.” This has led the actress to face backlash too and both the stars have been accused of McCarthyism. Actor Dean Cain, replied to Messing’s post stating, “I’m not attending, because I’ll be out of town. Otherwise, I’d have been happy to attend.”

The said fundraiser is scheduled in the same week as the Emmy Awards on September 17th, and the Beverly Hills event has tickets starting from $1000. The fundraiser is set to be hosted by Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, RNC co-chairman Tommy Hicks Jr., Trump’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale and Trump Victory finance chairman Todd Ricketts.
