The “Love Me Like You Do” singer exchanged vows with Caspar Josling, an art dealer who was debonair in a navy & gray suit, in an ornate wedding ceremony at York Minster Cathedral in North Yorkshire, England on Saturday. The singer walked down the aisle in a high-neck, long-sleeved classic Victorian style wedding that was custom-design for her looked God’s own creation.

The intricately designed wedding gown for Ellie’s happiest day is a product of 640 hours of intense work and effort. The dress from Chloé was a silk double crepe dress hand-embroidered with White Roses of York and embellished with delicate glass beads. The White Roses of York was a sweet tribute to her Yorkshire-born husband. Additionally, 591 hours were put to make her silk tulle veil, which had initials of bride and groom, ‘E’ and ‘C’, woven on it.

The songstress gaily released a statement about her dress that underlined her thrill and excitement on collaborating with Natacha at Chloé for her wedding dress. She has loved the brand and their incredible team for years, so it only seemed right for Chloé to play a big part on her special day. She has never felt more special than the moment she first tried on the dress during her fitting in Paris, Goulding continued in her statement. It was utterly awe-inspiring for her to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Talking about the work put on her wedding gown, the 32-year-old new bride said that the creative director at French Luxury Fashion House, Natacha worked alongside her to design something timeless and classic, but with all the Chloé spirit. She continued that Natacha was a very talented designer and she admired her work from day one.

The newly happily married couple!

The Label’s creative director talked about Ellie’s constant involvement in the design of her wedding dress. Together they worked on a collage of references from the Victorian era that Goulding wanted to weave into the design, in dialogue with the historical York cathedral where the ceremony was to take place. Goulding’s creativity made the process of designing the wedding dress fluid and inspiring for the designer team, and that resulted in the gown reflecting the bride’s personal sense of style.

The ceremony was a star-studded affair that attracted all the elite English class along with Hollywood royalty. The guest list included soon-to-be-married Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller with her boyfriend Lucas Zwirner, James Blunt, Jimmy Carr, and Sarah Ferguson with her daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, among other high- society people.
