“We created an ecological disaster”
The official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion is here! With that, the original cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum are officially back. However, they still see the horrific sights as the same old song and dance.
Let’s read on.
The trailer
The trailer opens with dinosaurs just about everywhere. They are no longer housed in the private island, and are wreaking havoc to the rest of the world. We see Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady doing what he does best – taming dinosaurs and risking his life. Grady also has new raptor in his pack.
While the events unfold, we hear the voiceover of John Hammond (Richard Attenborough). Hammond talks about why he decided to reverse engineer dinosaurs in the first place. We then hear Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) saying that Grady and his crew can’t keep managing the dinosaurs forever. She reminds him that humans and dinosaurs can’t coexist.
As disaster dawns, we get to see the return of some experts. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Alan Grant (Sam Neill), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are back. Malcolm gives another reminder on just how dangerous their plans are. “We not only lack dominion over nature, we’re subordinate to it.” Yes, it’s a bad idea for humans to think they’re the superior species.
What ensues is a slew of carnage. Owen riding his bike while being chased by dinosaurs, a massive pterodactyl damaging a plane, and a T-rex disrupting a drive-in movie theatre.
