BTS creates another milestone with 7Fates: Chako
“7Fates: Chako,” the webcomic based on the all time favourite boy band BTS and labelled under HYBE has broken records of the most viewed Webtoon only after the launch of its first episode.
On the digital platform, the Webcomic is Webtoons Original Series made in collaboration with the world famous K-pop group ‘BTS’. For the Webcomic “7Fates: Chako,” the company has partnered with many outstanding creators to construct amazing plots with original content to attract more webcomics’ lovers.
BTS rooted in every sphere
The biggest K-pop group ‘BTS’ is well acknowledged in the whole world. The band of seven members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V , Jimin and Jungkook are not only rooted their seat in K-POP Industry.
They have also made breakthrough in other renowned platforms like Interactive Storytelling Game called BTS Universe (BU). Moreover, they are not new to webcomics either – on January 17, 2019, they released ‘Save Me’ drama Webtoon, which continued to roll on screen to April 11, 2019. It consisted of over 15 episodes and generated 55 million views.
Boys Unique Adventure in 7Fates: Chako
BTS’ 7Fates: Chako has already broken several records on Webtoon crossing 15 million views within two days of release worldwide. The webtoon and web comic is an urban fantasy which set in a corrupt city known as Sin-si. The plot of Webcomics is inspired by Joseon era tiger-hunting officers.
In the Webcomics, the Sin-si city is on a verge of destruction by creatures known as beom. Seeing such chaos, the protagonists: seven boys make all life goal to save the city by hook or crook. During the course of comic, they make several attempts to stop the fights and save the land. The original soundtrack for the series will on vocals of Jungkook and produced by Suga.
On January 14, 2022, BTS Webtoon 7Fates: Chako’s prologue and the first episode was released by label HYBE. The Webtoon received immense love from the community and fans flooded in comments and like. It also increased the webtoon lovers.
Ken Kim, the CEO of Webtoon Entertainment also added that it was the best decision to work with HYBE. He further said the true fans of the POP idols would absolutely love the dynamic storytelling and idiosyncratic illustrations for the webcomics.
