Twenty-five years since one best feature made till day has its fandom and a cult following. The 25th anniversary of The Shawshank Redemption around the corner the Mansfield in Central Ohia is all dressed to celebrate the black and white gem directed by Frank Darabont, based on Stephen King’s 1982 novel Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. 
Though the film was based in Maine, it was almost entirely shot in Mansfield, Ohia at the Ohio State Reformatory serving the brutal Shawshank State Penitentiary.
It means a lot for the town of Mansfield attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists, said Tom Clark, a Shawshank Redemption specialist. For the fans, it is a pilgrimage the Gregory celebrating their 26th anniversary were in their home they had never been, in a place where people believe in hope and all the values the movie embodies. Coming from New Jersey, it must be a special moment look at the prison walls depicting the horrors and cries of its inmates.
The story depicts the life of a banker, Andy Dufresne convicted of the murder of his wife and her lover, crying of innocence all his to the Shawshank Penitentiary to serve a life sentence. Andy played by Tim Robbins befriend ‘Red’ a contraband smuggler(Morgan Freeman) and becomes an integral part of the prison money laundering racket head by prison guard Samuel Norton.
Reciting the lines as if it were a verse of the Bible, the cult fan following the movie created it just unimaginable. The box office failure in its initial run to the highest-rated movie, it truly resonates journey of Andy, it gives hope.
