A month after Beth Chapman passed away, her son opens about her absence in their lives.
The bounty hunter and American reality star, Beth Chapman, passed away on June 26, 2019, after years of battle with cancer. She was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer in September 2017, which after an initial remission spread to her lungs resulting in an aggravated stage 4 cancer diagnosis. During the filming of her new show, she got hospitalized and ultimately succumbed to the fatal disease.
Loss of your loved one is heart-wrenching, but more difficult is to resume your life back in the absence of the person. The Chapman family is going through the same phase where the death of the matriarch shattered them, and they are struggling to cope up with their lives.
Recently, Leland Chapman, step-son of Beth, opens up about losing the iron-lady of their house. He shared a bunch of pictures of Beth on his Instagram page and in of the pictures, he wrote that he couldn’t believe she’s gone. She would have been thrilled to see her family, friends, and fans, all coming together to honor her work. He thanked everyone for all their prayers and well wishes for his family. He thanked his whole family for coming together and helping his dad and others to pass this time. He further writes that he knows she is proud, and thanks again.
And it’s not the son alone who misses his mother; Duane Lee Chapman is unable to cope up with the loss of his wife, too. Sharing a picture of her on social media, he captioned “My Baby.” Her daughter-in-law, Jamie Chapman, too posted about her remembering her as the biggest fan of her father-in-law, Duane Chapman.
While Leland and his family might still be recovering from the tragic loss, he has all the plans to continue her work and fight for justice. Early July, he successfully tracked down and captured Edward Morales in Colorado as a part of his first manhunt after Beth died.
