The first reveal was made during Netflix’s Tudum event (spoilers ahead)
Netflix has unveiled the first look at the second volume of Money Heist season 5. Money Heist, or La Casa de Papel is an Emmy-nominated Spanish heist crime drama.
The story follows a mysterious criminal from Madrid, called “The Professor” who enlists eight other people with criminal pasts to carry out multiple heists. The Professor first ordered them to infiltrate the Royal Mint of Spain and print their own money. Next, they plan to rob the Bank of Spain. The group ends up making numerous sacrifices for the mission to succeed, often resulting in death of crew members.
Season 5 part 2 news
During Netflix’s global fan event Tudum, the first look at Money Heist season 5 part 2 was shared. The video gave a short preview of what to expect as the series reaches its conclusion. There isn’t much action to be seen, but the audience was still surprised to find that The Professor is missing. The group starts quarrelling among themselves as they can’t decide the next move. However, Martin is dead set on transporting the gold through the stormwater tank, even though nobody agrees with him.
The professor’s whereabouts
Part 1 of season 5 was nail-biting enough, and delivered us a major shock with the death of Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó). The Professor’s plans get seriously messed up yet again, and Artuto is being treated after getting shot multiple times by Stockholm. We are not sure at this point if the final heist will be successful.
The Professor, being the brilliant mastermind that he is, is expected to make an appearance with a backup plan. Therefore, prepare for yet another massive twist as the show enters it’s final stage.
