Stranger Things season 4 wrapped up filming after 19 long months
Netflix’s Stranger Things season 4 is one of the most awaited shows across the world. Fans have been waiting for the next season of Stranger Things forever now! Surely, Netflix has been trying to retain the curiosity of fans by dropping teasers occasionally but doesn’t seem to give updates on when the season will drop. However, the show’s star Noah Schnapp spilled some secrets in an interview.
What did our Will Byers reveal?
Season 4’s renewal was made official back in September 2019. No doubt that the pandemic that evolved by the end of 2019 took away many things we love! Delaying Stranger Things season 4 is one among them. In a recent interview, Noah Schnapp, who plays the role of Will Byers reveals that they have wrapped up the filming of season 4. The interview clip was shared on the “Stranger Things Spoilers” Twitter account.
As the interviewer asks Noah if they are still shooting Stranger Things season 4, he reveals that they have finally finished shooting for the show. Further, he adds that the makers are putting together another teaser. The filming of season 4 started way back in February 2020. Yet it took 19 long months for the team to wrap their filming. Having overcome many halts and hitches over these two years, the team has finally finished the shooting.
As revealed by Noah, the makers are currently prepping a new teaser release. Let’s Hope, it reveals more details about the plot!

Can we expect a season 5?
The Duffer Brothers executive Shawn Levy had recently revealed that Stranger Things season 4 is certainly not the end of the franchise. Meaning we will get a Stranger Things season 5 too. He stated that the unavoidable delay gave them time to look ahead, figure out the best interests for the series.
Stranger Things season 4 is officially scheduled to release in 2022 only on Netflix. Also, don’t miss Netflix’s upcoming virtual event “Tudum” that takes place on September 25. The event showcases some of Netflix’s forthcoming shows. Stranger Things actors Millie Bobby Brown, Joe Keery, and Gaten Matarazzo will attend the event.
