NBC’s “Superstore,” is to return the series finale and with it, America Ferrera will also be reprising her role and with that, the series would be ending its six-season long run with the last hour-long farewell episode on March 25. The actress had taken aback her step from the role in the season 6, second episode on the other hand she has been with the show since it first premiered and directed multiple episodes since and has also been an executive producer of the show.
Seeing the Ferrera hasn’t been on camera for a while, which would be the fallout of her character from the second episode of season 6, although even after the fallout of the character played by her the show has continued to play out the references of her, the most references are taken place when the discussions are around her ex-boyfriend Jonah( Ben Feldman), meanwhile, members of Amy’s family have been seen often on the show.
Production of the series is already over
The series wrapped its production on February 28 with its sixth and final season and the cast was seen tweeting about the occasion with some heartfelt tweets and Instagram posts and photos from the last zoom meeting or so-called table read. Lauren Ash took to his Twitter and wrote on how saddening the wrap-up of the six-season big series felt and how it feels like the end of an era.
Superstore, an ensemble comedy series is about a group of workers who work in retail in a fictional big store, the cast includes Kaliko Kauahi, Nichole Bloom, Nico Santos, Colton Dunn, Lauren Ash and Ben Feldman.
Universal Studio Group, a division of Universal Television has produced the series Superstore in association with The District, Miller Green Broadcasting and Spitzer Holding Company.
The series finale is set to be aired at 8 pm ET/PT on March 25.
