Top 5 anime sequels to come out in 2021

There are some good highly anticipated ones in the list too

Many animes that were set to release this year have been delayed due to the pandemic. Hopefully, the studio and cast has learned how to work around the tough situation happening to the world and will be releasing the animes on time from next year. Some of the shows included in this list were originally planned for this year. So let’s see what to look forward to.

1. Yakusoku no Neverland 2nd Season

Originally set to release on October this year, the highly anticipated sequel of Yakusoku no Neverland or The Promised Neverland will be coming out on January 2021. We will see Emma, Ray and their friends fighting for their lives after escaping from the orphanage that harvested children to feed an unknown species.

2. Beastars 2nd Season 

Netflix

We will be getting the second season of Beastars from Studio Orange on January 2021. Season 1 ended with Legoshi the wolf admitting his feelings for Haru the dwarf rabbit but before they could be together, he needed to get stronger. So he goes to train with the panda Gohin. Many other mysteries will be explored in the second season.

3. Gotoubun no Hanayome Season 2

Season two of of Gotoubun no Hanayome or The Quintessential Quintuplets will be coming out on January 2021. The romantic comedy will pick up where it left off and explore the relationship between Fuutarou Uesugi and the quintuplets as he continues to tutor them.

4. Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Season 2 Part 2

White Fox

The first part of season 2 of Re:Zero came out in July 8 after getting delayed for almost 3 months. The second part will air in January 2021.

5. Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken Season 2 part 1 and 2

That’s right, we will be getting both parts in the same year. Part 1 of season two will air in January 2021 while part 2 will be airing on July.
