The altercation was between the group, her sister and her sister’s partner
Cardi B has made headlines yet again, after the rapper defamed a bunch of Long Island beachgoers by calling them “racist MAGA supporters” in an edited video she posted. Her sister and her sister’s partner were the ones who argued with the group and the issue is already a lawsuit.

Cardi’s sister Hennessy Carolina, and her model girlfriend Michelle Diaz, got into a verbal argument with the group on September 6 at Smith Point Beach, as per Fox News’s report. The report stated that one of the men in the group was wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat.
Cardi B wrote that the argument happened after both Carolina and Diaz got harassed over where they parked their car, “all because they are an Afro/Hispanic gay couple.”

In the lawsuit however, both Carolina and Diaz are also named as defendants, after the beachgoers alleged the two of harassing them, and later defaming them by posting an edited video and commentary about the whole incident on social media, as reported by ABC 7 New York.
Their attorney, John Ray, had this to say to the news source, “These peaceful Suffolk County residents were quietly enjoying a Sunday at the Smith Point Beach with their families, when rap celebrity Hennessy Carolina suddenly approached them, raging, spitting, insulting, assaulting, defaming and threatening them, all the whole videotaping them because one of them wore a MAGA hat.”

While speaking about the incident in an audio recording, Hennessy claimed that two men told her and her girlfriend to “go to your f–king country.”
As of now, Cardi B’s attorney hasn’t provided a statement.
