Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco started off 2020 as the newly engaged couple. The ‘That 70s Show’ actor chose a dreamy beachside proposal to pop up this to his 28-year-old model girlfriend of 9 months, Amanda Pacheco to start his 2020.
The 39-year-old actor took Instagram on Thursday to share this news with all his 1.7M followers by sharing a romantic image of this exquisite moment from the La Jolla Beach, San Diego, California where Wilmer rings in the New Year with the proposal to Amanda. Keeping it simple and straight, he captioned the post ““It’s just us now” 01-01-2020.”
In the picture, the couple was on beach rocks along the seashore where ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ actor wearing a long-sleeved shirt with jeans, was down on one knee, holding her hand gently in one hand as he held a ring box high to her would-be fiancée asking her to marry him. Amanda who was wearing a pretty floral dress as she stood barefooted on the rock overlooking the ocean looked mesmerized by this romantic gesture from her boyfriend on the New Year.
The would-be-bride too shared the images on her Instagram page captioning it same as Wilmer. Along with the proposal snap, she also shared a picture of her massive pear-shaped engagement ring.
According to Wilmer’s Instagram account, the couple enjoyed their small winter break and celebrated New Year’s Eve in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico before taking off to San Diego where the proposal took place.
The pair were romantically linked first in April 2019 and since then, they have been going strong as ever. A source close to E! News revealed that Wilmer always opens the door for Amanda and pays the bill for them. He wants to make sure she feels taken care of. Even if the couple is indulged in just doing simple things, they have a lot of fun and are always smiling.
Before Amanda, Wilmer was romantically involved with Demi Lovato, Mandy Moore and Lindsay Lohan. Demi is very supportive of Amanda and Wilmer’s relationship.
